Setting Reminders for Vaccinations

On the TYR
Home screen under
Modules, click
Animals to open the
Manage Animals screen.

In the center grid on the
Manage Animals screen, select the animal for which you want to set a vaccination reminder by clicking the cell at the farthest left of the row containing the animal's information.

Click the
Vaccinations button under
Animal Health on the right side of the screen.

In the row of blue buttons at the upper right of the grid, click the
Set Reminders button (
) to open the
Set Vaccination Reminder(s) screen.
This screen allows you to establish up to three future reminders. These could be reminders for the same kind of vaccination for three different future dates, or reminders for three different kinds of vaccinations for the same or different future dates, or any combination of same and different vaccinations and dates.

If the vaccination name doesn't appear in the list, you can type it into the field.
(b.) In the
Date for Completion field, type a
future day, month, and year or use the
Date Picker to select a
future date.
OR
In the "Or In" section:
(i.) Click the checkbox.
(ii.) Enter or select a number in the number field.
(iii.) Click on days, weeks, months, or years.
Note: These steps will set a reminder for that interval in the future, calculated from today.

To set
Reminder 2 (optional):
(a.) Click the checkbox under the panel heading to enable the Kind field.
(b.) Perform substeps (a.) and (b.) in Step 5 above, making sure your entries are not the same as those for Reminder 1.

To set
Reminder 3 (optional), repeat the steps described in
Step 6 above.

Click
Save. You are returned to the
Manage Vaccinations screen where you can see a confirmation message in the lower left corner.
In the Completed Vaccinations view, you can see vaccinations the animal has already received.
To view the reminders, select the Vaccination Reminders radio button above the center grid. In the Reminders view, you can see all reminders that have not yet been completed, including those automatically created by the system when the vaccination records were entered.
Setting Reminders for Procedures and Tests

Home screen under
Modules, click
Animals to open the

In the center grid on the
Manage Animals screen, select the animal for which you want to set a reminder by clicking the cell at the farthest left of the row containing the animal's information.

Click the
Procedures and Tests button under
Animal Health on the right side of the screen to open the
Manage Procedures and Tests screen.

In the row of blue buttons at the upper right of the grid, click the
Set Reminders button (
) to open the
Set Procedure Reminders screen.
This flexible screen allows you to establish up to three future reminders for three of the same type of reminders (procedure,recheck, or vet update), one of each of the three types, or any combination thereof. For example, these could be reminders for the same kind of procedure for three different future dates, or reminders for three different kinds of procedures for the same or different future dates, or any combination of same and different procedures, rechecks, and vet updates with dates.

(a.) Select Procedure, Recheck, or Update the Vet from the box at the top of the Reminder 1 pane.
(b.) In the blank field above the Date for Completion field, enter the type of
Procedure or the details of what needs to be done for the
Recheck or
Vet Update.
(NOTE. If you selected Procedure at the top of the Reminder 1 pane, the system will enable you to select from the list of Procedures you established during system setup for Creating & Managing Health Procedures. If the Procedure you need isn't in your predefined list, you can type it into the blank field now and later add it to the system's master list of Health Procedures to save you keystrokes the next time.)
(b.) In the
Date for Completion field, type a
future day, month, and year or use the

future date.

6. To set Reminder 2 (optional):
(a.) Click the checkbox under the panel heading to enable the fields.
(b.) Perform substeps (a.) and (b.) in Step 5 above, making sure your entries are not the same as those for Reminder 1.
7. To set Reminder 3 (optional), repeat the steps described in Step 6 above.
8. Click Save. You are returned to the Manage Procedures and Tests screen where you can see a confirmation message in the lower left corner. In the Procedure and Test Reminders view, the reminders you just created appear in the center grid.
In the
Completed Procedures and Tests view, you can see those the animal has already received.
