Creating & Managing Health Procedures

Animals in your care will most likely need to undergo one or more health procedures, and the details about those procedures must be documented in their records. To save keystrokes when entering a procedure for an animal, you can create a list of likely procedures for each type of animal in your care. For example, if you shelter or foster dogs, your list of health procedures for dogs might include dental, deworming, ear cleaning, microchip implant, spaying/neutering, heartworm test, heartworm treatment, and so on. When you create the list of health procedures for each Animal Type in your system, items in the list become selectable on the animal record according to the type of animal it is. In case of errors or other requirements, you can also edit and delete any health procedures you create in TYR.
