Entering Animal Transactions (Milestones)

You will typically find yourself in one of two situations when entering the following types of animal transactions:
 

     Situation 1: A PCO Record Exists

In this situation, use the Manage People, Companies, and Organizations screen to select the PCO and add the transaction according to the procedures described on the pages in this section. (Note: Links to those procedures are listed at the bottom of this page, and are also accessible from the navigation page at the left side of your screen.)

 

     Situation 2: No PCO Record Exists

In this situation, there are two possibilities:
 
   (a.) Follow the instructions for Adding & Managing PCO Records, and then follow the procedures described in Situation 1 above.
 
          OR
 
   (b.) Use the following procedures, during which you can add a new PCO record without having to navigate to other screens:
 
           -  For transaction types #1, #2, #4, and #5 listed above, follow the procedure for Adding & Managing Animal Milestones.
 
           -  For transaction type #3, follow the procedure for  Adding & Managing Animal Records.
 
           -  For transaction type #6, follow the procedure for Adding & Managing Spay/Neuter Certificates.
